CMA (Certified Medical Assistant)
What is a CMA?
What is a Certified Medical Assistant: a medical professional who is responsible for assisting with patient care, clerical duties, environmental and organizational tasks in flexible work settings.
Why become a CMA?
Why become a Certified Medical Assistant: you have the advantage of working in flexible work settings (medical clinics, physicians' offices, and outpatient care facilities to mention a few, along with flexible hours.
Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday / 2 days a week/10-12 weeks
Course will meet Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.
Course Fee: $3,300.00
Registration fee: $250.00 (non-refundable) to reserve a spot for the course.
5 or more students are required to hold the course or the course will be cancelled and you will be moved to the next available date
$300 is due by first day of class.
Remaining balance $2700 is to be paid $250 biweekly for 10 weeks.
Requirements: Physical, 2 step TB, background check, entrance exams (to be submitted prior to start of class), purchase of Stethoscope,manual blood pressure cuff, secondhand watch, purple scrubs and white shoes
Nurse Assistant Course (CNA)
What is a CNA?
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an individual who has successfully completed a CNA course and the Indiana Nurse Aide Exam. Certification is then earned. His or her name will then be added to the Indiana Nurse Aide Registry.
Why become a CNA?
Becoming a CNA is a great way to enter into a new profession that promotes and fosters compassion. It will allow for you to develop and learn new interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to work at hospitals, nursing homes, acute rehab units and home health.
CNA Full Time Course
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday | 5 days a week | 3 weeks
This course meets from 8:30am to 3:00pm on Monday through Friday for class. The second and third week meet Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00 pm at the clinical site.
Course Fee: $825.00

$300.00 is due on the first day of class. The remaining balance is due 7 days from the start of class (weekends included) by 7:00 am.

CNA Part Time Course
SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday | 3 days a week | 5 weeks
This course meets from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 10:00pm for class and clinicals.
Course Fee: $825.00

Certified Phlebotomy Technician
What is a CPT?
A Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is a medical professional who is trained to perform blood draws on children and adults. They collect and prepare blood for testing so it can be analyzed in a medical laboratory. Phlebotomists are trained to collect blood samples to screen for, diagnose and monitor health conditions.

Electrocardiogram Tech (EKG Tech)
What is a EKG Tech?
Electrocardiograph (EKG) technicians are health care employees who perform diagnostic tests that help doctors identify cardiovascular problems in patients. The tests can help discover any irregularities in the heart that may lead to a heart attack or heart disease.
Why become a EKG Tech?
They work mostly in hospitals, but can also work in long-term specialty care facilities or private practices. The EKG technician explains the test to patients prior to conducting them. Once the patient is on the machine, the technician monitors heart performance and the patient's blood pressure.

This course meets from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 9:30pm for class.

Certification Pathway – EKG Tech, Medical Assistant, and Phlebotomy

Students who complete the EKG Technician, Medical Assistant, or Phlebotomy course are eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam in their field.

High School Diploma/GED Requirement

A high school diploma or GED is not required to enroll in these courses.

Students may take the NHA exam without a high school diploma or GED.

Provisional Certification

If you pass the NHA exam without having a high school diploma or GED, you will receive a Provisional NHA Certification.

You must earn your high school diploma or GED within 1 year of completing the course.

Once proof is provided, your certification will be updated to a Full NHA Certification.

If not, the provisional certification will expire.
